Calling cards? I need an international one!!!?

I need to get a calling card for my husband but he will be in kuwait and iraq and the ones he gets charge him several minutes for calling out of the u.s.


Where can i get an international one that won't charge him so many minutes to call me?

The best card to get is a spawar card...my husband calls home ALL the time and it only costs 4 cents a minute. Sometimes they even have days where you can call home for free. My husband has been deployed for the past 13 months and this is the only card we ever use.

Reply:He shouldn't need an international calling card. Just get a regular AT%26amp;T calling card. When soldiers are in Iraq, the phones call out just like he was in the states. Also get one that is rechargable. You keep the card and just give him the numbers off of it, so you can get more minutes on it when he needs them.
Reply:A lot of gas stations, convenience stores, etc. have good calling cards. I got one at a gas station that charges 1 cent a minute international. good luck.
Reply:check online and compare rates i have couple but dont know if are they good for iraq
Reply:he can get a spawar card at the base he is at which has better rates then most calling cards that you will find here. my husband is deployed now and we have found yahoo voice and messaging to be great!!!!!!! we can do webcam, he can call me without having to stand in a line to use th phone, and he can text me from his computer.

Reply:The phone cards through AT%26amp;T and through AAFES are the best. Unfortunately, it's just plain expensive to call, no matter what.
Reply:AT%26amp;T has the best (believe it or not) but your husband will have access to a DSN phone and the calls will be free for him. My husband has been deployed 6 times (to Iraq and Afghanistan) and he has yet to use a single calling card. They always GIVE him two or three free calling cards every time he goes and now we have a ton of those cards in the house.
