Calling a cell phone from jail?What kind of calling card is needed?

I have heard that there is a calling card that I buy which allows someone in county jail to be able to call my cell phone. Does anyone have any info on where to obtain one?

I believe that different jails have different services. Call the jail and ask the dentention officer if they have an 800 number to set it up. If that does no good, ask to speak to the jail administrator during normal business hours.

Reply:it's not a calling card, per say. It's called inmate telephone. all you have to do is sign up your credit or debit card and the phone number the inmate is going to be calling and they can call you! Just google inmate telephone and you'll find it.
