Can you call someone on a cell phone using a calling card and not use daytime minutes?

The calling card will be used using my cell phone and not a land phone. Is this possible without wasting my daytime minutes? Or is it better to use a land phone when calling someone with a calling card?

Just use SKYPE if is "almost free" to no only USA but many other countries.
Reply:Use a land phone. I used to call an 800 number to talk to my cousin years ago when I was young and didn't know any better. THEY STILL CHARGE YOU!!!!

Calling card or not.
Reply:You will still use up your mobile minutes if you use a calling card. The only purpose for using the card is if the card is for international calls, so you wont get charge by your mobile carrier.
Reply:I use land line and cell

Reply:Use a land line if it is possible. But remember there are extra charge debit from your calling card if you use a payphone.
