How do i use a phone calling card?

Do I get charged on my regular bill? I'm wondering does my phone number show up if i use it to call from a different phone, like a pay phone .Does my phone number show up at all to the person i'm calling?

How do i use a phone calling card?
no, nothing will show....I even use a calling card from my home-phone....because I get a better rate....I just do it for convenience reason...!

only the receiving person has to kinda know the number, otherwise they think its a tele-marketeer calling....
Reply:If you use a calling card, you won't get charged on your regular bill because it's like using your regular minutes because the number you dial first is an 800 number. Your actual cell number will not show up on another person's caller id. Usually a funny looking number pops up on their ID or it'll say "unknown." I hope this helps!
Reply:If you use a prepaid calling card to make long distance calls, you will not be charged on your regular bill, the long distance fee is deducted from your calling card.

And your phone number will not be shown to the person you are calling.
