from what i understand, i pay for a calling card, and while i use it, i have to pay for each minute, my question is, if i have free weekends and nights, will i lose my minutes even if i use a calling card (international)
Losing minutes on calling cards?
you use minutes up when you use a cell phone regardless of if you use a calling card, so I wouldn't bother with the calling card. And if you're calling internationally with a cell phone you're going to be charged whatever the service plan's rate is, so that could be a lot. You'd be better off using the calling card from a land line.

Reply:is the calling card from the same company as the cell phone? if it is, i'm not sure
but, if it's not, then don't use the calling card on weekends or nights. Actually, if you use a calling card that's not with the same company as the cell phone, then when you use the card on your cell phone, you're using both minutes on your phone and your card...
