What is that musical thingy in birthday cards called?

I'm talking about the little device that you find in the folding greeting cards that play music when you open them. All you can actually see of them is a little white tab. I need to know exactly what they are called so I can get the specs on them for an engeneering/marketing project. Thanks.

Some examples of embedded chip kits it is possible to make your own if your in engineering do some research you'll figure it out.

its not just 1 specific device unless your looking for prefabs

the second link gives you an overview diagram
Reply:MPG chip, battery, and mircro speaker!
Reply:Electronic battery chips or buttons?

Try looking up chip-on-board (COB) electronics.
