When using a calling card, does it show up on the phone bill?

ok, so i have been talking to this guy a lot but his parents check the cell phone bill and don't want him calling me and my number shows up on there. so he has been using his home phone and an AT%26amp;T calling card. it is long distance. will my number show up on his home phone bill since he is using a calling card? will his parents be able to find out who he has been talking to?

When using a calling card, does it show up on the phone bill?
he is calling a toll free number which is no charge for the caller (he has paid for the minutes with his calling card) so it does not show up on the bill.....even if it did it would be the toll free number he called and not your number....i would think that it would take a court order for them to find out who he has been talking to.....
Reply:No it does not, since you´re calling a local phone number..

Take care..

Reply:No, they won't see your number... but they will be able to see the access number for the calling card, so they will know he has been calling someone using a calling card... and unless they are particularily thick, they will probably assume that someone is you.
Reply:That guy is smart ;). Short Answer: NO, I dont think so.
Reply:I don't believe it will. With home phone service you have to pay (via your monthly bill) for long distance calls made. If he is using a calling card, the call is already paid for. It shouldn't show up on the bill.
Reply:yes a calling card call will show up on the phone bill and it will list the number to which the call was made along with how long the call lasted. You need to invest in the long distance cards that you can purchase just about everywhere there is no way to track who you call with them.
Reply:No. He would be dialing the toll-free number on the calling card directly from his home phone.
Reply:If US Calling Cards work in the same way as UK Calling Cards, it is only the card's local access number will show up on a phone bill. The number your friend dials before he enters the PIN
